Love & Courage Final Retreat for A Year of Delving Deeply Participants with Sherry Ruth Anderson September 10-15, 2013

This is the completion of a year-long women's group in which we have developed
the art of open-ended inquiry into our soul-level truth.

Embodying our inquiry through a practice of presence, we have explored our sense of purpose and calling as well as engaging questions of curiosity, aloneness and relatedness. The group includes women from the Midwest, the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, meeting through teleconferences in small groups, singly, as well as a 5-day retreat in Anchorage.

In this final retreat, we will focus on the potential for the human heart to be personally present, and at the same time, be very clear and precise and steadfast in orienting to what the soul loves. We will engage the quality of essential courage needed to stand for that love against the inner critic; how we make ourselves untouchable; and how we can live from what matters most to us.

We will conclude by reflecting on how we can live from the truth and beauty of our love.
Sherry Ruth Anderson, Ph.D. co-authored the best-selling The Feminine Face of God (Bantam) and The Cultural Creatives (Random House). Her latest book is Ripening Time: Inside Stories for Aging Gracefully, (John Hunt Publishing: 2013). Formerly, she chaired the Department of Psychological Research and was Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto Medical School. She now teaches the Diamond Approach to Spiritual Development® in the U.S. and Europe (www.ridhwan.org) and leads seminars on becoming elders.
