Day 1:
Tour the Gull Island Rookery on your way to Halibut Cove on the Danny J ferry. Meet your guides for lunch at the Saltry Restaurant before coming to Stillpoint Lodge. Receive kayak safety instruction and enjoy a paddle tour of Halibut Cove.
Day 2:
Hike a 2 mile trail to Grewingk Glacier Lake and embark on a kayaking adventure toward the face of the glacier.
Day 3:
In the morning, go tide-pooling with an expert from the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies.
In the afternoon, visit Humpy Creek and witness the annual salmon run.
Day 4:
Option 1: Return to Homer after breakfast on the Danny J ferry
*Option 2: Stay an additional day and night, and enjoy one more day trip, for just $195. Challenge yourself on a hike up to our local wildflower covered mountain. Alpine Ridge offers a breathtaking view of Kachemak Bay and Grewingk Glacier, 3,000 feet above the sea. After breakfast on Sunday, August 25, return to Homer on the Danny J ferry.

Lucas and Beka Thoning of Halibut Cove, AK
"For almost a decade, we have explored Kachemak Bay State Park and the surrounding area. We look forward to sharing our love of adventure, nature and sustainability with you."
Lucas is a certified Wilderness First Responder, experienced kayak guide and yoga instructor. Beka, manager and executive chef of Stillpoint Lodge, is a certified kayak guide and seasoned outdoorswoman.
$595 double occupancy, $695 single occupancy
(*Option 2- Extended stay, add $195)
Includes: Round-trip boat transportation from Homer, a tour of the boardwalks and art galleries of Halibut Cove, 3-4 nights lodging, mindful gourmet meals, facilitator, tuition, kayak instruction, guided kayaking and hiking, sauna, Wi-Fi and optional spiritual direction, yoga and meditation.
