UNIQUE ALASKAN DESTINATION IN HALIBUT COVE
Stillpoint Lodge in Halibut Cove is located across Kachemak Bay from Homer, Alaska. Homer is literally at the end of the road, 220 miles south of Anchorage on the Kenai Peninsula. A scenic boat ride across the bay will bring you to Stillpoint Lodge.

HALIBUT COVE is a small, roadless community on the shores of Kachemak Bay. The village is accessible only by boat, floatplane or helicopter. Fewer than 25 hardy Alaskans live in the cove year-round, while as many as 90 call Halibut Cove home during the summer months. The mail boat delivers mail from Homer to the floating post office twice weekly. Fishing, art, retirement and the love for unmatched natural beauty make Halibut Cove a wonderful place to live and a popular destination for the discerning traveler.
OUR COMMITMENT to guests is to provide a quiet setting to bask in the beauty of nature, architecture, artistically prepared meals and organic gardens.

THE LODGE
Our Alaskan wilderness lodge overlooks the breathtaking Kenai Mountains as they come down to meet the sea. The handcrafted copper doors welcome guests upon entry. Attention to detail and the use of natural materials is evident throughout the lodge. For example, the deck of an old barge has been reclaimed and transformed into a magnificent fir floor. An indoor creek trickles alongside the stairs and meanders under a hand-hewn bridge to a reflecting pond. Artistic touches await discovery in the lounge/meeting center, dining room and elegant shower rooms. A sauna and massage room are there for those who choose to pamper themselves during their stay.
Dine on health-conscious meals overlooking spectacular Alaskan scenery. Dinners, prepared by the resident chef, feature fresh, local seafood. Seasonal greens from the garden, fresh baked breads and signature desserts will long be remembered. Wine and beer are available for purchase.
Twelve cabins sleep 22 guests. Cozy and clean cabins feature locally-crafted quilts, hand-painted sinks and warm flannel sheets.
